Bio:
Accomplished international mountaineer-adventurer Jamie Clarke is a 20-year veteran of expeditions across the world. He has climbed the Seven Summits, traveled to 55 countries, written books and made films about his grueling journeys. While not adventuring, he’s a popular public speaker and businessman. Clarke describes himself as an ordinary person seeking extraordinary experiences who tries to inspire others to do the same – in their own personal ways.
Never one to rest long, Clarke is now working with Hanesbrands Inc. of Winston-Salem, N.C., to lead an expedition to Mount Everest in the spring 2010. Clarke and his team will set out to climb the world’s highest peak wearing specially designed Champion and Duofold products, giving Hanesbrands the opportunity to showcase its commitment to innovation, team-building, goal setting and promote its brands and products.
